delightful tutu moment

Love tutus. Remembering my early dancing days. My costume was satin yellow and the tutu was yellow with a top cover of rainbow colors. I remember it as if it were yesterday. The song was Judy Garland's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Made me smile.

The inspiration for this memory is over at HipChickDesigns. Found this through Pam Carriker's site.

I'm inspired, delighted and cheered up. The devastation happening in the world is heart-wrenching. The moments of finding someone alive is precious. Any little thing that reminds of the joy of life is worth experiencing even in the most dire moments.

I'm going to see if I can find me a tutu. Maybe you'll get yourself one and be inspired.

I have never personally worn a tutu! Good luck in finding one for you, how fun!

I love tutus too! Last year I made myself a gold tutu and it was so much fun to prance around in during a party!

With your interest in art, I'm wondering if you would consider joining a community art piece (I'm extending the deadline until the end of april). I would be honored to have you. If you have time and interest, please check it out here:

I wore a yellow tutu with black leotard for a tap dancing show when I was around nine. I remember it was scratchy netting and I want'ed a nice soft one. Hope you've found yourself a tutu and are dancing with joy.
